The full name of this product is (ethylenedioxy)dimethanol (EDDM). It is a broad-spectrum biocide and preservative for water-based systems. Appearing as a colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid, it is a formaldehyde-releasing biocide characterized by excellent water solubility and compatibility.
